Messages not sending?

Hi, I'm new here, my account has been approved and my email has been verified a few days ago. I had tried sending messages today, and I keep receiving an error message in red, saying, "Your message has not been sent".

I use my iPad for pretty much everything. Maybe the message system doesn't work for devices?

Is this fixable? Thanks in advance.
